On Tuesday, December 8th, the Stratford diving team competed against Clear Falls High School from League City. All 3 SHS divers competed very well! Charlize Spears competed her back flip with 1 ½ twist.  This dive is very difficult and she pulled it off amazingly.  Charlize, the only female diver, finished the meet with the score of 194.70. Robbie Howell, competed his front 2 ½ at this meet with a great execution for the best he has competed in a meet.  Robbie finished second place with a score of 189.8. Sam Jones competed two new dives at this meet.  He competed his reverse 2 ½  and his reverse 1 ½ with a half twist.  For never competing these scary dives, he kept his composure and competed them well! Sam finished first place with a score of 217.20.  Great job to all of the divers at this meet! We can't wait to see what our divers have to offer for districts on January 21, 2021!
