November Recap: 

We are celebrating our Stratford Divers!  At the 2020 Clear Falls Diving Invitational on November 13th in League City, our three divers achieved their personal best records for a 6 dive meet.  Their competition was strong with a full roster of divers; 18 men divers and 16 women divers.  Senior, Sam Jones, placed 3rd with a score of 242.05.   Junior, Robbie Howell,  scored 190.35, landing him 6th place.  And Charlize Spiers, junior, scored 163.80, for a 6th place finish.  A big shout out to all of you! 

On November 20th we hosted the diving meet the for SHS, MHS and Clear Creek High School. This was our first 11 dive meet. Competing were Robbie Howell and Charlize Spiers. Sam Jones was out for an injury. Congratulations to Robbie and Charlize who both took 1st place!  Robbie scored 301.20, his personal best for an 11 dive meet!  And Charlize scored 298.65. They competed with a look of no fear as their hard work and dedication paid off!  Way to go!!!

We also want to congratulate our senior, Sam Jones, who participated in the Fall Signing Day on November 11, 2020.  Sam committed to dive for the Delta State University in the fall of 2021!  Sam was new to the sport of diving when he joined our Stratford team his sophomore year.  Sam is very grateful for his diving coach, Coach Anastasia Pozdiniakova, who has been instrumental in his development as a diver.
