Volleyball Highlights the Week of 10/19/20

The Lady Spartans finished the first round of district play by handedly taking care of business against Northbrook High School. The team was a great ball of fire, they were all over the court hitting, blocking and digging their way to a 3 games to 0 victory!

The whole team contributed by cheering one another on, providing support and working together to get the victory. The highlights of the week include Rylie LaRue with a trifecta, 11 digs, 5 kills and 5 aces. Marjani Stanfill, Skylar George and Chelsea Gorman came through with a double-double: Marjani giving 16 kills and 4 digs, Chelsea providing 3 kills and 2 blocks, and Skylar contributing 6 kills and 4 digs. Olivia Abbott 6 kills, Sharlotte McClintock 4 kills, Chloe Popkin 3 kills, and Sydney Winkler 7 digs. Julia Stein and Nina Terry kept the ball moving: Julia had 15 assists and Nina had 27 assists to end the first round of district play!
