On Thursday, October 15th, the Stratford swimmers took on Memorial at the SBISD natatorium. Memorial won overall, but the women managed to squeak out a 2-point victory over their women rivals, Stratford had 40 lifetime personal best times swam at the meet and fourteen 1st place finishes, including our divers, senior Sam Jones, who scored a lifetime personal best, and Charlize Spiers! Sophomore Caroline Smith was one example of everyone doing their part, swimming 3 out of 4 personal best times. Way to go, Stratford!

The women’s A medley relay of Emma Venghaus (back), Kara Moss (breast), Allison Ortiz (fly), and freshman Lindsay Wong (free)

• The women’s A 200 free relay of Moss, Ava Wylie, Ariana Zhuri, and Wong
• Kara Moss in the 100 breast (out-touching her opponent by .07 s!) and in the 200 free
• Callum Glover in the 200 IM
• Allison Ortiz in the 50 free and in the 100 fly
• Jack Brennan in the 50 free and in the 100 breast
• Gavin Beach in the 100 free
• Lindsay Wong in the 500 free
• Emma Venghaus in the 100 back

• The men’s A 200 free relay of Lucas Groves, Lowell, Moss, Callum Glover, and Tyler Barber finished 2nd.
• The men’s A 400 free relay of Tyler Barber, Callum Glover, Lowell Moss, and Charlie Williams finished 2nd.
