After a competitive start, the Spartans were outplayed by the Cy-Fair Bobcats on a hot day at Pridgeon Stadium.

The first 18 minutes of this game were characterized by long, clock eating drives by both teams. Cy Fair scored a touchdown on their opening drive. Stratford responded with a drive to the Cy Fair 10 yard line before turning the ball over. After another long Cy-Fair drive, it was 14-0 with only 6:57 left in the first half.

The rest of the game saw several long plays by Cy Fair to put the game away.

On offense, Darese Steptoe led the way with 14 carries for 68 yards rushing. Diego Denson had 4 receptions for 31 yards along with 40 yards rushing.

On defense, Cooper King (15), Ford Lancaster (9) and Dylan Shoemake (8) led the team in tackles. Anthony Cuhel, Colin Tenney, Lennon Garcia, and Austin LaRue had nice tackles for loss.
