On October 8th, Stratford High School’s diving team had their first meet of the season! “’Our divers, Sam Jones, Robbie Howell and Charlize Spears did great!” said Coach Nastia, “They faced the Woodlands High School which is always a strong competition. It was a good start to the season and we know what to expect when we come back for the Regional if February.” They kept their heads high and competed their 6 dives well.  Sam competed his front 2 ½! With lots of height on the dive, a strong kick out, he completed the dive with 6’s.  Robbie competed his back 1 ½.  He made the perfect kick out and went in the water with little splash. Charlize competed her back 1 ½ with a half twist.  She has been working on this dive, and pulled it out really well during the meet! Congratulations to all! Let’s keep this year going strong!
