On Thursday, October 8th the Stratford Swim Team traveled to the Conroe ISD Natatorium to compete against The Woodlands Swim Team. The Woodlands Team is an extremely strong competitor and this was a tough meet. Stratford swimmers still held their own as always, including some freshmen. Top 5 individual finishes include:

• -  Freshman Lindsay Wong finished 3rd in the 200 IM and 5th in the 100 free.
• -  Senior Max Zuanich finished 4th in both the 200 IM and the 50 free.
• -  Callum Glover (11th) also had two 4th place finishes, in the 200 free and 100 fly.
• -  Senior Jack Brennan finished 4th in the 50 free and 5th in 100 free.
• -  Tyler Barber (11th) finished 4th in the 100 free.
• -  Megan Zuanich (10th) had a 4th place finish in the 50 free.
• -  Senior Jonathan Horton finished 5th in the 100 breast.
• -  Allison Ortiz (10th) finished 5th in both the 200 free and 100 fly.
• -  Lowell Moss (10th) had two 5th place finishes, in the 50 free and 500 free.
• -  Gavin Beach (11th) finished 5th in the 200 IM.
• -  Eric Jackson (11th) finished 5th in the 100 fly.
• -  Artemisa de Jager (11th) finished 5th in the 500 free.
• -  Ashley Cooper (10th) finished 5th in the 100 back.
• -  Freshman Katie Fikes finished 5th in the 100 breast.
• -  Lindsay Wong going a lifetime best 56.40 s in the 100 free.
• -  Lowell Moss having a 26.49 s split in the 50 breast.

Two boys’ relays finished in the top 3: 

The boys’ 400 free relay finished 2nd with Glover, Brennan, Charlie Williams (12th), and Max Zuanich.

The boys’ 200 medley relay finished 3rd with Zuanich (back), Brennan (breast), Glover (fly), and Barber (free).

The girls had a 3rd place finish in the 200 free relay with Ariana Zhuri (11th), Grace Stern (11th), Ava Wylie (12th), and Megan Zuanich (10th).
