The swim team kicked off their season this past Saturday, September 26th, at Cinco Ranch High School in a tri-team meet that also included Memorial High School. This is an annual very unconventional all-relay meet including many crazy events, such as 8 x 25 200s split among 8 swimmers, 500s alternating between 2 swimmers swimming 50s (exhausting!), 3 x 100 flys and IMs, and backstroke relays, just to name a few!

The swimmers had a blast and the men’s/women’s combined scores tied for 1st place with Memorial High School. Way to go, Stratford! The swimmers are looking forward to a rematch with Memorial in the dual meet later in the season!

The swim/dive team will next compete in the Woodlands at Conroe ISD Natatorium on Thursday, October 8th at 4 pm. See you there!
