“Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.”  -Vince Lombardi.

Well, what can we say?  Cy-Fair jumped out immediately and put 35 points on the board in the first half.  Cy-Fair’s defense was very tough, especially in the red zone.  Even so, the Spartan Defense came out of halftime fired up and held the Bobcats to zero in the second half.  On offense, AJ Abbott and Dylan Shoemake combined for 134 passing yards on 11 pass completions.  Ben Moseley had another great game with 73 yards on 5 receptions.   Bryce Keith had amazing punts placing a 62 yard punt on the 4 yard line and a 32 yard punt on the 2.  Matthew Weaver had a fumble recovery on a punt.  On defense Keaton Klasing partially blocked a punt causing it to travel 2 yards. Vincent Cashiola, Van Heitmann, Jacob Kim, Eric David and David Mouton (2), all had tackles for loss in the game.  Reco Griffin, Eric David, and David Mouton had four tackles each.  After a couple of tough losses, the Spartans will make their playoff run in the next two games.  They have the heart, the drive, and the skill...and we know they can do it.  Go Spartans!
