Ideas for Booster Club Auction/SportsFest V 2009
The proceeds from the SportsFest V Auction 2009 will be used to purchase
items that benefit all sports at Stratford. Your participation will help make
this annual event a huge success. Every family with a Spartan athlete is
encouraged to make a donation. Below is a list of ideas:
Vacation Homes and Trips: lake, beach, mountain, or ranch homes; frequent
flyer miles; hunting or fishing trips; golf or tennis outings.
Professional Services & Lessons: legal, accounting, computer services,
interior design, dental, tutoring, dance, swimming, piano, golf, any sport,
landscape or irrigation plus anything I haven’t mentioned that might appeal
to our members.
Parties: Dinner parties, Crawfish Boils, casual get-togethers, Happy Hours,
Fiestas, you plan it and we’ll be there.
Electronics: TV’s, ipods, DVD players, cameras, etc…
Sporting Goods & Memorabilia: autographed baseballs, footballs, T-shirts,
you get the idea, it’s a SportsFest after all.
Spartan Stuff: anything with our ‘S’ and the color green is sure to be a hit.
You can never have too much.
Home & Garden: artwork, small furniture, decorative accessories, yard art,
flags, benches, handcrafted items etc….
Gifts Certificates: Now this is easy! Restaurants, car wash, retail stores,
salons, spas etc….
College Stuff: Towels, laundry bags, dorm necessities, microwave,
computer, small refrigerator, TV, laptop……
Tickets: all sporting events, theatre arts, concerts, movies, etc…..
These are just some ideas but if you think of something not mentioned here
that will help raise money for out athletic programs bring it on. Please
contact Karen Jones at kjones6563@comcast.net about your exciting
donation, and I will store it until the auction. Just fill out the donor form and
mail it to Karen Jones 13722 Tosca, Houston, TX 77079.
If you can not attend the auction but would like to donate anyway, we will
gladly accept it. If you are donating an item such as a party, vacation home
or service please bring something to grab people’s attention next to the bid
sheet at SportsFest V.
